At the time, pool financing was offered primarily as secured loans and took a lot of time and know-how to arrange financing for a pool buyer. The time and effort required by a pool builder to help their customer find a great loan and manage the loan process was too much. Viking Capital provided them and their customers a far better option. Viking Capital, Inc. was established in 1999 and in less than a year, they hired their first employee and opened an office on Caledonia Street in Sausalito, California.
